Film Lesson "Night and Fog"

My reaction to "Night and Fog" was that I was very shocked to see that "that" was happening after all of the killings. Yes, I did find the film as powerful as you did. Most of what saw was beyond con traversal for me because I saw how they were killed after they were killed. I would say that even though I couldn't understand what was being said because it was being read in French, I still got a pretty clear image on what was happening in the film. The brutalizing tactics were horrible because after the people were killed, they were either chopped up, buried underground, and some people were not lucky enough so they have gotten burned up and thrown into a pile of other bodies. The way both of these movies compared are that they both explained that causes and effects of the Holocaust thoroughly. They explained what would happen to anyone who would disobey or not follow instructions correctly in both of the films to me. The film that I think illustrates the Holocaust more effectively is the Hollywood version for the simple fact that "that" film was longer and it started from the beginning so that we can get a glimpse or idea on what it is was like or what it must felt like to be like in those dangerous situations. Even though the movie seemed kind of fake as far as all of the violence, the Hollywood version was still more effective in my opinion.
